During a session, you will close your eyes, put on headphones, and listen to music that is synchronised to the roXiva light journey and playing for the duration of your experience. The roXiva light journey uses flickering and flashing white lights combined with sound to guide you into a deeply relaxing and/or inspiring state of mind, using the Frequency Following Response (FFR). The Frequency Following Response is the natural tendency of the brain to follow (and become synchronized with) sound, light, rhythm, and energy that vibrates within a certain frequency. A variety of sensations can occur during your roXiva session. As the flickering lights and sound guide you to an altered state of mind, you might experience subtle and peaceful kaleidoscopic patterns that can lead you to drift off to sleep, or you might experience a more intense psychedelic light journey.

Generally speaking, any person can achieve alpha/theta brainwave states and can benefit from roXiva. However, the sessions are recommended for persons with a healthy brain.
